Work Permit Visa Requirements

★ Basic Documents:

• Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity beyond planned stay in Bulgaria, with at least 2 blank pages).

• All previous passports (if available).

• Two (02) recent color photographs (35mm X 40mm, white background, taken within the last 3 months).

• Completed and signed Bulgaria National Visa (Type D) application form.

• Cover letter stating the purpose of travel and intent to work in Bulgaria.

• Travel medical insurance valid in Bulgaria, minimum coverage of €30,000.

• Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), issued within the last 6 months.

• Medical Certificate confirming good health and absence of contagious diseases.

• Proof of visa fee payment.

★ Additional Documents Required for Bulgaria Work Permit:

• Original work permit approval from the Bulgarian Employment Agency (issued by employer).

• Employment contract signed by both the applicant and the Bulgarian employer.

• Invitation Letter from the employer detailing job role, salary, employment terms, and duration.

• Proof of accommodation in Bulgaria (e.g., tenancy agreement or company accommodation letter).

• Applicant’s updated CV/Resume in English.

• Copies of academic qualifications, certificates, and relevant work experience letters.

★ For Business Person:

• Personal Bank Statement of last 6 months.

• Company Bank Statement of last 6 months.

• Updated Trade License (renewed).

• Certificate of Incorporation and Memorandum (mentioning director names).

• Company Letterhead.

• Import & Export Certificate (if any).

• TIN Certificate / Latest Income Tax Return.

★ For Job Holder:

• Personal Bank Statement of last 6 months.

• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer.

• Salary Certificate.

• Recent Pay Slips (if available).

• Provident Fund Certificate (if applicable).

• G.O (Government Order) for official passport.

• BMDC Certificate for Doctors / BAR Council Certificate for Lawyers.

★ For Student:

• Valid Student ID Card copy.

• Permission/Leave letter from educational institution.

• If invited by someone in Bulgaria:

  • Invitation Letter

  • Passport copy of inviter

  • Proof of address (lease agreement, utility bill, or driving license)

  • Bank Statement copy of inviter (if applicable)

• If invited by company:

  • Official Invitation Letter

  • LC Copy (if any)

  • Company contact details

★ Other Supporting Documents (if applicable):

• Tour Plan / Itinerary (if combined visit)

• Visiting Card

• Marriage Certificate / Children’s Birth Certificates

• Property documents (land, house, etc.)

• Vehicle ownership document (Blue book)

• Proof of financial assets: FDR, Shares, Savings

• National ID Card copy

★ All Bangla documents must have English translations attached.
